Solo Paperwork is run by one person, so email is the only channel — but it is a real one and it is read.
I usually reply within a couple of working days. There is no contact form because this is a static site with no server behind it — which is the same reason nothing you type into a tool is ever uploaded anywhere.
What to write about
- A correction — something on a page is out of date or wrong. This is the most useful email I get. Tell me which page and what is wrong and I will fix it and credit you if you want.
- A template that does not exist yet — tell me what you invoice for and what the standard form in your trade needs. That is usually enough for me to build it.
- A file that will not open or looks broken — say which template and which app you opened it in.
- A privacy request — see the privacy policy for what is collected and what you can ask for.
What I cannot help with
I cannot tell you whether to charge sales tax on your particular job, what to put on your tax return, or whether a contract clause protects you. Those depend on your circumstances and your state, and getting them wrong costs you money — a qualified accountant or attorney is the right person to ask.
I also do not accept paid guest posts, link insertions or sponsored placements, so those emails will not get a reply.
